Having your own personal midwife means that you will have someone who truly understands your individual needs, preferences, and concerns. From the moment you discover you are pregnant we can offer continuous support, guidance, and reassurance. Your personal midwife will take the time to listen to your hopes and fears, answer your questions, and provide evidence-based information to help you make informed decisions about your care. This allows for a strong relationship to develop between your midwife and you, fostering trust, open communication, and personalised care.
-
Care can start from the moment you are pregnant. Information around diet, nutrition, exercise, scans, hospitals and what to expect. Although we do not take fees for packages of care before 12 weeks gestation, you can book individual visits giving you guidance and support.
-
Our pregnancy visits are an hour long with the clinical midwifery check taking around 10/15 minuets. The remainder of this visit is for answering any questions or concerns you may have and providing you with relevant information and knowledge based on your particular needs and circumstances.
-
We provide comprehensive maternity review at each visit. Full health checks including monitoring the wellbeing and development of your baby, by listening to their heartbeat, assessing growth, and assessment of your baby’s position in the last few weeks before labour. We can also perform blood pressure checks, which are carried out to ensure you have a safe pregnancy as well as assess the wellbeing and development of your baby. We can also carry out urine tests that perform a function of assessing conditions such as kidney infections, dehydration, and preeclampsia.
-
During visits, we can discuss a variety of topics including nutritional advice, birth plans, labour preparation, as well as preparing for your baby's arrival.
-
We identify and make appropriate referrals when needed. This can be to a number of health care professionals depending on the issue or concern.
-
Your midwife will be on hand 24/7 to provide you with advice, support or for emergencies. You have a dedicated number that will come straight through to your named midwife but in the event, she is on another call or with a client, you will have a named second midwife. You will get you to know two of your midwives well.
-
We set up a Whatsapp group support chat with your midwife. It creates a friendly and secure place where you can ask any questions or advice, arrange appointments, send pictures, scan reports, and blood test results. It also gives you easy access to both your primary and secondary midwife in one place.

Hear from our clients
"Absolutely delighted with my whole pregnancy, birth and postnatal care package - I couldn’t have asked for anything more. Nadia is so caring, up-to-date with all the latest research and constantly kept me informed covering all the gaps that are left by the NHS. I was so well prepared for birth by her that I was completely at ease and it made the newborn stage such a joy. I cannot recommend Nadia highly enough! Looking forward to next baby with you."
