Meet Nadia
In 2009 I began my midwifery degree at KCL training at St Thomas’s hospital and later gained my BSc with honours. Over the years I have worked at nearly every London Hospital and I have links in and managed projects to improve birthing outcomes with some of London’s busiest Units.
Passionate in births and midwifery
Although I’ve always been passionate in births and midwifery; I became disillusioned with the way maternity is impacted through fragmented care, financial matters and outdated societal and political influences.
“
I found that my passions lay within women being empowered and supported around making true informed decisions regarding their bodies, births and babies.
Focusing on individualised decision making. Removing fear and judgment and replacing it with confidence, choice and autonomy to lay the foundations for the best start into parenthood.
Through providing an individualised and holistic approach I am able to tailor all appointments and focus on areas that are important to that particular woman or family. Every person will have different concerns or hurdles to navigate through their journey.
By paying particular attention to prevention of problems rather than treatment we can focus on providing women with the resources to retain and develop their power through this transformational process.
What makes us unique
You’re in safe hands
Nadia is London’s leading independent midwife. She’s fully insured, registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and has over 13 years of experience. Coming from a long line of midwives, her clients trust her to provide the gold standard of care, always acting with the best interests of mother and baby in mind.
Focus on the feeling
Nadia’s unique approach focusses on you feeling in control and empowered, rather than focussing on the perfect ‘plan’, which can cause stress when it doesn’t go perfectly. She encourages you to let go of visions of the perfect Instagram birth (spolier: it’s not real!) and embrace the raw and imperfect nature of the process.
Prevention not cure
Nadia’s focus as a midwife is always on prevention rather than cure, an area that is so benefited from the continuity of care that she provides. Through particular attention to posture, nutrition, supplements, exercise, lifestyle and mindset, she is able to anticipate and prevent complications, helping you plan for every eventuality. With Nadia, you always feel like you’re three steps ahead, seeing off problems before they arise.
